The 2023 IS is the first Lexus to offer the brand-new Lexus Driving Signature system, which aims to strengthen the link between driver and vehicle. This 2023 IS was tested on the new Shimoyama 5.3 km test bed, where it was pushed to its limits in bends and corners, as well as in a range of driving circumstances, in order to outperform previous versions. The 2023 IS’s performance stems entirely from an improved rigid chassis for superior steering, all while improving driving comfort and lowering noise. The suspension was also modified with new parts and materials, and the unsprung weight was reduced.
