The Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is a true suite of advanced systems, with a plethora of assistance ready to serve you in any driving situation. These are highlighted by:

  • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (with Curve Speed Management)
      • Keeps a cruising speed in concert with traffic flow.
  • Oncoming Vehicle Detection (addition to Pre-Collision System)
      • Alerts driver and activates braking (if needed) in the event of a possible front collision.
  • Left Turn Oncoming Vehicle Detection & Braking
      • Warns and brakes if the driver turns left in front of an oncoming vehicle.
  • Right/Left Turn Oncoming Pedestrian Detection & Braking
      • Warns and brakes if the driver turns left or right in front of a pedestrian or cyclist.
  • Risk Avoidance Emergency Steer Assist
    • Activates braking and steering assistance in your lane to help avoid collisions.

Additional Lexus Safety System+ Features for the 2022 NX

Added on to the current 2021 Lexus NX Safety System+ are a few special features for this brand-new edition of the NX. These are highlighted by:

  • Adaptive High-Beam System
      • A first for Lexus in Canada, a monocular camera that detects vehicles in front using light, and then adjusts the light distribution in your headlights so that the high beam functionality doesn’t affect oncoming drivers.
  • Pre-Collision System
      • Detects collisions from vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists in low light.
  • Road Sign Assist
    • Its built-in camera will display the road sign info on your instrument panel (and head-up display if available). Perfect for keeping abreast of signs you may have missed.

Digital Latch & Safe Exit Assist

Smooth and safe entry and exit to your Lexus is done with ease thanks to the brand-new Digital Latch system, which activates at just the push of a button.
