Performance: Improved Hybrid Ability & New Engines

An all-new Lexus NX 350h joins the lineup, and will be the dominant volume model here in Canada. Enjoy improved 239 horsepower alongside a better fuel consumption rating of 6.5 L/100 km. Another first for Lexus is the PHEV system combining with Lexus electric power, creating the NX 450h+ model, offering up an 58 km range on electric power only. Its 2.5L inline 4-cylinder engine rockets driver and passenger form 0-100 km/h in only 6.2 seconds. Rounding out the trifecta of new additions is the all-new NX 350 2.4L Turbo engine, reaching 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque, and matched to a new 8-speed transmission. Lexus has been hard at work between the 2021 and 2022 models to deliver a new NX with incredibly advanced engine and performance abilities.

Exterior & Interior Design: Molded for Power & Comfort

Lexus is known for its signature spindle grille, which has been updated here with a new grille pattern that more seamlessly fits in with the rest of the NX’s body, and presents a 3D look that doubles down on the vehicle’s bold presence. The rear of the SUV sees full-width blade tail lights, with a redesigned Lexus logo centred at the back to take just that extra step into the future of new age expressionism. A drive-focused interior comes with 14 different themes and 64 colours to choose from, all highlighted through the Thematic Ambient Illumination that kisses every choice. Pick from options like Sunset, Waterfall and Rain Forest.

Technology: Lexus Interface Multimedia System

The all-new Lexus Interface multimedia system is here to change how you interact with your NX. A 9.8-inch touchscreen provides connectivity at your fingertips, while the screen’s Human Machine Interface makes operation even easier through advanced sight, touch and voice features. Upgrade to a 14-inch screen, which comes complete with automatic climate control. The Virtual Assistant feature is the best way to interact with the system, allowing easy voice communication to navigate all you need out of your vehicle, from entertainment to phone operation to vehicle settings to trip planning. Saved user profiles, digital key use, enhanced navigation and wireless AppleCarPlay & Android Auto round out some of the top features that make the 2022 NX a true statement of the future.
