The 2024 Lexus GX adopts a sleek and stylish new exterior design, while still retaining the utilitarian nature that GX enthusiasts have come to love and expect. A modern iteration of the brand’s spindle front grille prominently houses the Lexus logo up front, flanked by a unique new LED headlight design that’s unmistakably Lexus through and through. The side profile of the vehicle sheds the previous GX’s rounded-off styling, replacing it with a more utilitarian aesthetic with hard-edges, a distinct upward C-pillar beltline design and available two-tone paint options.
All-New Turbocharged Powertrain
All 2024 Lexus GX models come equipped with an all-new 3.4-litre twin turbocharged V6 engine that’s more powerful and more efficient than its predecessors. Generating 379 horsepower, 479 lb-ft of torque and with a maximum towing capacity of 3,629 kgs (8,000 lbs), this brand new engine delivers almost 80 horsepower, 150 lb-ft of torque and can tow 680 kgs (1,500 lbs) more than the 4.6-litre V8 engine of previous GX models! All of this power is sent to all four-wheels though Lexus’s intelligent full-time 4WD system.
