Built on the brand’s first ever dedicated BEV (battery electric vehicle) platform, both models of the 2023 Lexus RZ are equipped with a powerful 71.4 kWh battery. This powerplant sends power to all four wheels through Lexus’ DIRECT4 all-wheel drive system to ensure sufficient traction in the most challenging of winter conditions that Alberta has to offer. The RZ’s advanced E-Axle system distributes power to the vehicle’s front- and rear-axle mounted motor, delivering ample amounts of all-electric power to whichever wheel requires it most.

Seamless E-Motion 

Embracing the brand’s new electric mobility design philosophy, the 2023 Lexus RZ embodies the concept of “E-Motion” through ultra-modern styling and Lexus-exclusive features. The vehicle’s illuminated & heated Lexus front emblem dramatically announces your arrival anywhere you go. Sporting a new-age spindle grille that’s devoid of any vents, and unique aero-ventilated wheels that help maximize the vehicle’s aerodynamics, the RZ’s striking design is the definition of form complementing function.

Interior Design & Technology Features 

The interior cabin of the Lexus RZ is a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing place to be in. Inspired by the Tazuna Reins used by Japanese equestrians, the RZ’s cockpit blends artistic form with seamless functionality. The vehicle’s leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated multi-function buttons allows drivers to control several of the vehicle’s features such as the available head-up display, driver digital display cluster and the adaptive cruise control system.

In terms of technology, all 2023 Lexus RZ models come equipped with an all-new 14-inch Lexus Touchscreen Interface with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
