Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) Wins More 2021 Vincentric Best Value in Canada Awards™ Than Any Other Automaker for an Eighth Consecutive Year
TORONTO, Ontario – June 9, 2022 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) was honoured today with ten 2022 Vincentric Best Value in Canada Awards™, as well as nine 2022 Vincentric Lowest Cost to Own in Canada Awards™, making it the eight consecutive year – and eleventh year overall – that Toyota and Lexus vehicles have received the most Vincentric Best Value in Canada awards.
Vehicles recognized with Vincentric Best Value in Canada Awards™ are compared against competitors in the same segments and are awarded for having lower than expected ownership costs. Value is determined using a statistical analysis that incorporates the current market price and total cost of ownership of all 2022 model year vehicles.
For the fifth time, Lexus is recognized with the “Best Value in Canada: Luxury SUV” category award, as well as four “Best Value in Canada” model level awards in the “Luxury Mid-Size Sedan”, “Luxury Large Sedan”, “Luxury Compact SUV” and “Luxury Mid-Size SUV” segments.
Confirming the strength of TCI’s efforts on the electrified vehicle front, all Best Value in Canada recipients, as well as many Lowest Cost to Own in Canada recipients, are either dedicated hybrid models or available with a hybrid powertrain.
“We’re proud that our Toyota and Lexus vehicles have received the most Vincentric Best Value in Canada Awards™ for eight consecutive years,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Toyota Canada Inc. “These awards illustrate our commitment to offering Canadian consumers an excellent value vehicle in every segment, year after year.”
