SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY IS AT THE CENTRE OF WHO WE ARE
There's a lot of need in Calgary and our Lexus of Royal Oak family supports our city in every way we can. One of our main initiatives is to assist the United Way's mission of solving Calgary and area's most complex social issues. We host an employee driven corporately matched donation campaign, raising up to $76,016 annually. We believe in United Way's mandate to not only provide essential resources to Calgarians when they are most at risk, but to strategically incorporate preventative approaches to help people before they reach their most vulnerable state.
During the summer in Calgary, we take the opportunity to spend some time in the sun while giving back. We're proud to annually sponsor charity golf tournaments in support of non-profits in Calgary, including The Children's Hospital Aid Society (CHAS), Rotary, and the Educational Partnership Foundation (TEPF).
Aside from our team's support of the United Way and charity golf tournaments, we have partnered with our guests to collect essential items for the earthquake victims in Turkey; Women in Need; the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter, the Calgary Drop-In Centre, Wildfire Victims, and Basically Babies. Thank you to our generous guest community for joining us in these efforts.
While funds and essential item donations are critical to the success of our local non-profit organizations, time is another vital ingredient to bringing their missions to fruition. Our Lexus of Royal Oak Volunteer Team shows up to provide on-site assistance in whatever capacity is required. Our team is happy to dedicate many volunteer hours to these culturally aligned service organizations.
As a family-owned and operated business, we know the word 'family' includes those with fur. We are a team comprised of pet lovers and are advocates of supporting animals in need. One of our most recent animal support initiative involved team tour of the Calgary Humane Society, which resulted in the welcoming of two sweet dogs into the hearts and homes of two of our team members!
