Virtual Assistant in the Lexus Interface system is the prime way you’ll interact with it, led forward by voice control. It features dual microphones, noise cancellation, seat detection and smart speaker locations to always find your voice. This means that both driver and front passengers will simply be able to interact with the system, from navigation to entertainment to vehicle settings and more, just through their voice in his human-focused assistant.
The Interface comes complete with 100% cloud capability and integrated Google POI data, which for the layman means displaying faster directions and more accurate mapping when you’re trying to navigate to your destination. Over-the-air updates keep you and the system up-to-date on the latest changes, while native navigation allows you to find your destination even if you don’t have a network connection. This offline mode downloads maps in advance, and kicks in when you enter areas of poor service.
User Profiles & Digital Key
The Lexus Interface system utilizes a smart user profile system, which saves each driver’s personalized setting and maintains them in the cloud, able to be then used in other vehicles with Lexus Interface systems. Simply create a profile in the Lexus app, then use a login, smart key or Bluetooth device to access it. Further from the user profiles is the Digital Key, where you can perform operations like start/stop the vehicle and lock/unlock directly from your smartphone. You can share the key with up to 7 people, and all routed through the Lexus app.
