The result is confident acceleration, terrain-conquering capability, and a towing rating of 2,948 kg (6,500 lbs). Utilizing the technology of the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS), the GX enhances handling and ride comfort by helping to keep the vehicle level in both on and off-road conditions. When the GX encounters an uneven surface, one compressed cylinder causes fluid to flow to the other cylinder, helping the vehicle to keep all four wheels on the ground. The system works without the driver's taking any action. Another asset of the GX for on-road smoothness is the available Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). The AVS uses electronically controlled dampers that adjust to road surface conditions. The driver can tailor the ride by selecting from Normal, Sports or Comfort modes. The GX series features styling to match. Curbside, signature L motif LED headlights flank the aggressive front grille while front and rear spoilers express dynamism and power. Exterior details of note include headlamp washers, LED fog lamps and rear lamps, illuminated running boards, and silver roof rails. Inside, a sturdy design is polished to an elegant finish, with leather-clad seats providing comfort and space for up to seven people. The GX is also impressively versatile. The 40/20/40 reclining middle row seats and 60/40 folding rear seats let guests quickly transform the GX from a luxury passenger carrier to a capable cargo hauler. The GX also features impressive in-vehicle technologies, placing convenience and connectivity at each guest’s fingertips.
